Alice Hackett Obituary

HACKETT - Alice M. (nee Mc Lean), age 87, of Saddle River, died Sunday, March 23, 2003. Alice was born in Timmins, Ontario Canada and lived in Franklin Lakes for forty seven years before moving to Saddle River three years ago. She was a travel agent with Wyckoff Travel & Cruises Inc. for thirty years. Alice was a member of Saint John's Memorial Episcopal Church of Ramsey, where she served in the Altar Guild. She also was an avid volunteer with the Emmanuel Cancer Foundation of Midland Park. She is survived by her two loving children; Douglas of Englishtown and Linda Hutchinson of Highland Lakes. She is also survived by two granddaughters; Beth and Amy, and two step-granddaughters; Lisa and Kelly. She was predeceased by her husband Edward T. in 1994. Visiting Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. Funeral service, Thursday, 11 AM, St. John's Memorial Episcopal Church, East Main St. at Franklin Tpk., Ramsey NJ. Interment Redeemer Cemetery, Mahwah. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Cancer Foundation, Northern Regional Center P.O. Box 212 Midland Park, NJ 07432
