Alice Marchiafava Obituary
Mrs. Marchiafava was born in Belleville. She was a database analyst for Verizon, where she worked for 44 years before retiring.
Services were Friday at St. Anthony's R.C. Church, Butler. Arrangements were by the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of New Jersey, 400 Broadacres Drive, Bloomfield, NJ 07003.
Mrs. Marchiafava is survived by her husband, Louis; and her brothers, Tommy, Jack, and Walter.
She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Catherine Lee.

Alice and I were friends for many years even up until the day she passed away I will miss our days working together in Verizon and our Friday nights going to the malls and eating junk food miss you my friend you will always be in my heart

Dear Louie,
I am so sorry to hear about Alice's passing. I went to high school with Alice and worked with both of you at Doddtown Shoprite. I have so many good memories of Alice. We were such close friends back then. I spoke to Alice about 4 years ago when I was in Livingston cleaning out my parents house. I know that Alice was the love of your life. God bless you Louie.

To Louis and family: I was very saddened by the news of Alice's passing. I worked with her since 1992 and admired her dedication to her work and anything else she applied herself to, as well. I will miss her and pray for her and all of you. Rest in peace, Alice - your suffering is over. Time will heal your loved ones grief.
