Charles McCarrick Obituary

Charles F. "Charlie" McCarrick Eaton Rapids, MI Age 72, died Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at his residence following a long illness. Born February 7, 1936 in Lansing the son of Irving and Verna (Twichell) McCarrick. Charlie had formerly worked as a Truck Driver for Miller Trucking in Detroit and retired in 1996 from the City of Eaton Rapids in the DPW Department. He was a former Volunteer Fireman for the City of Eaton Rapids and was a 4-H Leader for 10 years. Preceding him in death were his parents and a sister. Surviving are his wife, Rosetta; 5 daughters and a son, Julie (Ken) Locke, Kathy (Dan) Curtis, Debbie (Cody) Forist, all of Eaton Rapids, Greg (Emily) McCarrick of Owosso, Georgia McCarrick of Kokomo, IN and Crystal McCarrick of Lansing; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandsons; sister, Sharon McCarrick of Eaton Rapids; 2 brothers, Richard (Diane) McCarrick of Lansing and Robert (Nancy) McCarrick of Grafton, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 5th at 1:00 p.m. from the Skinner Funeral Home in Eaton Rapids with burial following in the Rosehill Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. For online condolences go to www.SkinnerFuneral Home.com.
