Andrew MENDILLO Obituary
Andrew James, 21 months, of Woodland Park, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, special blanket and toys on May 20, 2014, after a courageous battle with leukemia.
In his short time with us Andrew touched everyone's heart with his great big smile and laugh. Whether greeting them by blowing kisses, giving them "high fives", showing his strong muscles, playing ball or doing bubbles, Andrew brightened the lives of all he met. No one made him laugh more than his big brother "Ry-Ry".
He is survived by his loving parents, Steven and Debbie Mendillo, brother Ryan, grandparents Ruthanne Mendillo, Karen Sherrer, and Ron Alegreto. Aunts and uncles Megan and Gerard Tuohy, Jonathan and Jennie Mendillo, Nancy Alegreto, Billy and Wendy Alegreto and great-aunt and uncle Suzanne and Fred Seifert, cousins Colin Tuohy, Arianna and Ashley Alegreto, Jason and Greg Seifert.
Friends and relatives are invited to celebrate his life on Friday, May 23, from 4-8 PM at Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Avenue (Rt. 23), Cedar Grove, NJ. Funeral Mass 10:30 AM, Saturday, May 24, St. Catherine of Siena Church, 339 Pompton Avenue, Cedar Grove, NJ. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Upper Montclair, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Andrew's memory can be sent to the Ronald McDonald House of NYC, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, or St. Joseph's Hospital Children's Oncology Department.
