Andrew E. Napotina

NAPOTINA AndrewE, of Hackensack, died on Tuesday April 7, 2009 at the age of 74. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Prior to retiring in 2000, he worked as a Mailman for the Maywood Post Office for 30 years and for the last nine years he worked as a crossing guard for the City of Hackensack. He was a member of the Crossing Guard Local #97 of Hackensack and a member of the American Postal Workers Union. He was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church in Hackensack, a member of their Holy Name Society and the St. Francis Socialites. Beloved husband of the late Rita A. (nee Matteo) (2001). Dearest brother of Lona and Ralph Padovano of Rochelle Park and Joann Benson of Toms River. Cherished uncle of Jeffrey and his wife Linda Padovano, Scott and his wife Elizabeth Padovano, Gregg and his wife Claire Padovano, William and Christopher Benson. Theresa and her husband Dan Schenk, Great uncle of Anthony, Jordan, Steven, Mark, Dominick, Grace, Rose and Grant Padovano, Nicholas, Samantha and Sara Schenk. Loving cousin of Lona Napotina. The Funeral on Tuesday, April 14th, at 8:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street. Hackensack, at 10 AM Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 – 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
