Annie Brain

BRAIN - Annie (Rogers), 90, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 16, 2005. She was born in County Armagh, Ireland on June 7, 1915, the daughter of William and Annie (Fry) Rogers. After coming to NY as a teenager, she lived in Astoria, Queens until her marriage to William Brian Jr. on December 19, 1939. He predeceased her September 8, 1983. Survivors include her five children; Ruthanne Shanks of Spring Valley, NY, Wilfred D. Brain and his wife Joan of Westtown, NY, Grace M. Coddington and her husband Douglas of Springfield, NY, Deborah J. Miller Stark and her husband Buck of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Sharon L. Eelman and her husband Robert of North Haledon, NJ. Eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at the VanDerPlaat Funeral Home, in Franklin Lakes, NJ at 11 AM on Wednesday, October 19, 2005. Burial will follow in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Calling hours will be from 7-9 PM on Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at the Funeral Home in New Jersey. Arrangements entrusted to Ottman Funeral Home, Cherry Valley, NY and VanDerPlaat Funeral Home, Franklin Lakes, NJ.
