Anthony Pavelec Obituary
Anthony L., 90, of Rutherford, passed away Friday, February 3, 2017. Born in Passaic, Anthony has lived in Rutherford for the past 64 years. Prior to his retirement in 2008, Anthony worked for his sons at the Pavelec Brothers Golf Course Construction Company. Previously he was a truck driver for Red Star Express Lines in North Bergen for 41 years retiring in 1986. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during WW II. Anthony was the beloved husband of the late Dolores "Honey" (nee Majewski), devoted father of Anthony F. Pavelec of Nutley, Andrew Pavelec of Toms River, and Emil Pavelec of Rutherford, loving grandfather of Kristen, Andrew, and Robert, and was predeceased by 3 sisters. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Tuesday, 10:30 AM, at the Kamienski Funeral Home, 106 Locust Avenue, Wallington. Interment East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
