Audrey Meier Obituary
Audrey E. (Olson), 93, of Elmwood Park, NJ passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at home. Born and raised in West New York, NJ, she resided in Elmwood Park since 1954. A faithful and active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Fair Lawn, she was a member of the Dorcas Guild. An avid reader, Audrey also enjoyed church outings.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph Meier. Loving and devoted mother of Joseph Meier and wife Carol and Patrice Clarhaut and husband Bill. Cherished grandmother of Jodie, Kasie, Joseph, Kristina, Brian, Tyler and Kelly. Dear great-grandmother of Annalyn, Lincoln and Luke.
The family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday 3-7 PM at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ. A funeral service is planned for Thursday, February 18, 2016, 11 AM at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 22-15 Broadway, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Audrey to Our Savior Lutheran Church would be appreciated. Audrey is home with The Lord she loved and served so well. Her family at Our Savior Lutheran Church will miss her terribly. May they and her family be comforted in the certainty that Audrey has eternal life in Christ and that they will as well.
