My heartfelt and sincerest condolences to the family. My Uncle Augie will be missed. I have many great memories of my Uncle. He was a good, kind and patient family man. He had a great big smile and sparkling blue eyes that always said I'm so glad to see you. We had lots of laughs, some tears and a precious relationship. No matter how much time between visits it was as if we had just saw each other the day before. He made everyone feel important. He was real. Genuine. One of a kind. When I think of him I will invariably smile. I am blessed to have had him as my Uncle. Until we meet again, rest in peace my dear uncle. Love Jimmy
God bless you Grandpa.

"WOODCHUCKS IN HEAVEN"
Dad,
Your love of the outdoors was there for everyone to see. You couldn't wait to run out the door of the house every morning to see what mischief you could get into. Your life long battle against weeds, woodchucks, and deer in your garden was entertaining to say the least. You loved your family and wanted them to follow in your chosen lifestyle. Your favorite saying was "You don't work, you don't eat" but everybody ate (you made sure of that) no matter what! The work shirt you wore on the busiest days of the year, the one that had "Don't ask me, I'm retired" written across the back, will be remembered by all who read it as you walked away pretending not to hear. A person can't walk in, ride around, or talk about Sussex County without a reminder of your lifelong work (love) popping up. It was a toss up as to which plant was your favorite, but the three runners up would be the Tomato, Geranium (red), and the Pansy. For all the people who didn't have the chance to say good bye to Mr D, rest assured he knew your well wishes. Mr D is resting right now until the weather breaks in heaven and he can get started planting the new garden. I sure hope for their own sake that there are no "woodchucks in heaven".
Love always,
Chris and family

We are so saddened to learn of the loss of Mr. D. He was loved by so many in the area who were blessed to know him, both through his business and personally. It was always great to see him with his wonderful smile and he was always ready to help someone with his kind words of wisdom. He will be sadly missed by all of us.
