Avery Doremus Obituary

DOREMUS
Avery Seymour, 86, of Oak Ridge, passed away at her home with her family by her side on Sunday, June 30, 2013.
She was born in Rockaway, NJ to Emily (nee Haesloop) and William Seymour.
She married Warren Doremus in 1945 and together they raised their two children Gale and David in Oak Ridge, and have continued to live in Oak Ridge for the last 48 years.
Mrs. Doremus worked as a bookkeeper for about 25 years at Metaltec Aerosystems in Franklin, NJ.
She was a parishioner of The United Methodist Church at Newfoundland.
Mrs. Doremus will best be remembered as being a part of the Garden State Campers, where she enjoyed her favorite activities, camping and square dancing.
Mrs. Doremus is survived by her beloved husband Warren, her dear son David Doremus and his wife Terry, and her dear daughter Gale Plocic and her husband John; her cherished grandchildren Kevin, Michael, and Amanda Doremus, Amy Duncan, and Elyse Turr, and her loving sister Sylvia Jacobus, of Bound Brook, NJ.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 7:30 PM at the United Methodist Church at Newfoundland, 65 LaRue Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Doremus' name to the National Parkinson Foundation, Gift Processing Center, PO Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018.
