Barbara PHILLIPS

PHILLIPS Barbara (nee Petrie), 73, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2009. She was born in Jersey City but was a long time resident of Secaucus. Barbara worked in the payroll dept. of Panasonic Corp. in Secaucus for many years, retiring ten years ago. She was the Vice President of the Secaucus Senior Citizen building, a member of the North Hudson Chapter of Head Start, a member of the First Response Unit of Secaucus and, with her husband, the 2009 Secaucus Irish Couple of the Year.Beloved wife of Paul Philips Sr., and the devoted mother of Cynthia Messina and husband Bobby, Sharon Tabbacchino and husband Ernie, Paul Phillips and wife Angelia and Peter Phillips and wife Jennifer. The dear sister of Lorraine Luzzi and Lawrence Petrie. The loving grandmother of Elizabeth and John Petrella, Joanna Phillips, Rachel Messina, Amanda Quesada, Sharon, Matthew and Ava Phillips. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at 9 AM from Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus then to Immaculate Conception Church where at 10 AM a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
