Barry J. McGrotty, age 55 of Little Egg Harbor, on Friday, July 14, 2017. Born in Paterson, Barry had resided in Paterson before moving to Little Egg Harbor twenty years ago. Barry had been the owner and operator of McGrotty Construction in Paterson, and then in little Egg Harbor after he moved. Barry J. McGrotty was the beloved father of Christopher McGrotty of Little Egg harbor, and Katlin McGrotty, also of Little Egg Harbor. Loving brother of Evona Dilks of Paterson, William J. McGrotty and his wife Cecilia of Glen Rock, and the late Diane McGrotty (1990). Dear uncle of Lisa, Danielle, and Trey Aead, and William and Daniel McGrotty. Nephew of Doris Grot of Marlboro, Ellen Wilks of Moorestown, and Marion Lewis of Montrose, PA. Funeral will be departing at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne for a 10 AM funeral mass at St. Catharine's R.C. Church, Glen Rock. Interment will follow at the Fair Lawn Cemetery, Fair Lawn. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Monday evening from 4-8 PM.
