Benedict Leonardi Obituary
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and has resided in Nutley for the past 50 years. He was employed as a site accountant for DuPont in Clifton, for 45 years, before retiring in 1991. He proudly served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army/Air Force.
He is survived by his children Dianne Servidio and her fiancée Michael Magella, and Armand Leonardi and his wife Debra; his brother Armand Leonardi Jr; his grandchildren Jon Matthew Servidio and Dina Marie Servidio. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and extended family.
He is predeceased by his wife Helen (nee Germano) Leonardi.
There was to be a funeral service celebrated at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Ave., on Monday, Dec. 19. The entombment was to be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visitation was to be on Sunday, Dec. 18. To send online condolences see biondifuneralhome.com.
