I grew up in Emerson and attended Assumption School from the late 1970s to the late 1980s. I still remember Monsignor Orrico's visits to our classrooms. He always brought a smile to our faces. He was a wonderful priest, and will be missed. God bless him.

My family and I knew Father Orrico from the first week of our move to Emerson in 1954. I was one of his altar boys many times, and my family always had a very close and special relationship with him through the decades. I remember him very well, especially the day he dragged himself out to the altar for my mother's funeral, right after his heart bypass. I regret very much that I had not dropped to see him this last year. I had been intending to stop in to ask his advice, and somehow the time slipped away. He was a fine priest, and will be missed.
Yours in Christ,
Tim Rice
