I've learned to live
without you now
The pain is still there
yet less somehow
And through my cold
and icy tears
I've learned to push
aside my fears
I can make it on my own
I just never asked
to be alone
I miss your tender
morning touch
The smile that I
adored so much
With each new hour
I grow more strong
With each new day
I find ways to belong
I wonder how it
can really be
That you're not
coming back to me
So I mosey through the
endless days
And fight the blues
in endless ways
I can be alone and
be alright
Yet I still wish on the
stars at night
That I'd awake and
you'd be there
Just one more time
to hold me near
I never got to say goodbye
I say it now to the empty sky
I miss you every day
In my heart and memory
you will always stay
Your loving husband Alan

My condolences. May God Almighty give you the strength to endure until his promises are fulfilled.
