Caryl Aibel Obituary

AIBEL
Caryl, 79 died peacefully at Morristown Medical Center on November 2.
Caryl was born on March 26, 1936 to George and Sarah Lieberman (nee Mogul) in Brooklyn, NY. She attended University of Miami, and graduated from Adelphi University where she earned a degree in Social Work. After moving to Wayne with her husband Roy, she became an active volunteer with various organizations and social service agencies.
Caryl was a supporter of several charitable institutions, and of the arts. She rarely missed a performance at Jacob's Pillow Dance in Becket, MA and had a keen admiration for the fine arts, as well.
Caryl was the loving wife of Roy Aibel, whom she married in 1960. They met when they were children while summering at Lake Buel in the Berkshires, and almost seventy years after, maintain a home on the very same lake. Caryl always looked forward to summer when she could surround herself with her oldest and dearest friends, and her family.
Caryl was the devoted mother of Lauri Aibel (Timothy Sleeper); Keith Aibel (Sharon); Jill Leone (Charles) and loving grandmother to Brianna, Hailey, and Kelsey Leone and Claire, Claudia, and Samuel Aibel.
A funeral service was held in Great Barrington, MA.
