Charles 90 Obituary
Born in Riverdale, Mr. Hunt lived in Hewitt for more than 60 years. He was a civil engineer with Kenneth Wentink & Associates, Sussex, and with Warner Brothers Jungle Habitat, West Milford. Also, he was the president of G. Waldo Rude & Associates, Pompton Lakes. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of American Legion Post No. 289, West Milford. He attended Newfoundland United Methodist Church and was a member of West Milford Elks Post No. 2236 and the Sussex County Beagle Club as well.
Arrangements are by the Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Warwick, N.Y., followed by interment at Warwick Cemetery. Donations may be sent to the West Milford First Aid Squad, 619 Ridge Road, West Milford, NJ 07480 or to the West Milford Police Department, 1480 Union Valley Road, West Milford, NJ 07480.
Mr. Hunt is survived by his wife, the former June Heinlein; his sister, Gail DiLaura of Pompton Plains; his nephew, Dean DiLaura; several nieces; and a great-nephew.
He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Helen; and his brothers, Robert and Theodore.
