DALY
Christine Mary (nee Flynn), age 87, of River Edge, entered into eternal life on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Valley Hospital, Ridgewood.
Devoted mother of Marty Daly and his wife Kathleen, Anne Daly and Michael Daly and his wife Deirdre. Cherished grandmother of Laura, Ryan, Courtney, Keelan, Colin and Sarah and great-grandmother of Nuala. Predeceased by her beloved husband Patrick Daly (1993) and her sister Kathleen Flanagan.
Christine was born in County Kerry, Ireland to the late Katherine (nee McCarthy) and Michael Flynn. She emigrated to the U.S. in 1949, settling in and raising her family in the Bronx, NY, prior to relocating to River Edge. Christine was employed as a telephone operator for 25 years at AT&T and Verizon and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and a devoted parishioner of St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church, River Edge.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Monday, 10:30 AM, St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church. Burial to follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah. Visitation Sunday 2-6 PM at Beaugard-McKnight Funeral Home, 869 Kinderkamack Road, River Edge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Christine's memory to St. Simon Stock-St. Joseph Parish, 2191 Valentine Ave., Bronx, NY 10457, C/O Rev. Nelson A. Belizario.

My sympathy and love to the Daly family. I will always remember Christine the grand lady,and our wonderful summer memories at the Jersey shore with Ann. She will be greatly be missed by all that knew her.
