Constance Grant Obituary

GRANT - Constance Elizabeth, age 84, born in Brooklyn, NY, on September 5, 1922. She was the daughter of Elizabeth and Joseph Wrozina. She passed away on June 8, 2006 in her home of forty-eight years in Northridge, CA. She was surrounded by her loving husband Duncan and her children Lynn, Bruce, Donald and Richard. She graduated with honors from Tenafly High School in 1939 and went on to The Katie Gibbs Business School in New York City. She worked as a secretary and later as an administrative assistant. She married Duncan, her high school sweetheart in 1942. She was a war-time bride and kept house in New York City while her husband served in the Fourth Infantry Division and in the D-Day landing during WW II. After the war, they moved to Ohio, then to New Jersey and finally to California in 1967. They were married for sixty-two years. She loved spending time with her family and also enjoyed reading and traveling. Her husband Duncan, her children and her eight grandchildren and her brother Joseph survive her. Her family held a private celebration.
