First met David in 1979 when we worked at Eagle Ambulance, I was an EMT. He was the 1st respiratory therapist I ever met. The next year I began my calling in respiratory. Today, 40 years later, I still work full time as an RRT. David was a wonderful soul to have blessed this planet. RIP David. Dr. Tom Nicosia, RRT-NPS

Not a day goes by that I don't think of my Uncle. I'll never forget having to tell my son his Great Uncle passed, he was looking at pictures of Uncle Dave on my phone, and said "it's not fair Uncle Dave is one of my best friends". Uncle Dave was a great uncle to my sister and I, but there was nothing like witnessing the love he had for our children.
Thank you all who have shared your fond memories of my uncle, it is deeply and sincerely appreciated.

Dave was filled with so much compassion for everyone. He so willingly and humbly gave of his time and never asked for anything in return. I could not have gotten through my mother's illness and death from 1979 - 1983. Dave was at ICU at Chilton, at the beginning of mom's fight for life. I was cying in the chapel. I did not know Dave yet, but he walked in, sat down next to me, reached for my arm, then left. It was a tremendous comfort knowing that each time I left the hospital during those years that mom was well cared for because Dave was there. A few nights before my mom died, Dave came to our house to check on her. He new her death was imminent and told me to call him at any time of the day or night. I called Dave at 6 a.m. the morning that mom died. He came and stayed with me until after the doctor pronounced my mom and her body was taken. Dave took me outside so that my last memory of mom would not be that final scene. May we live up to the example that you left for us Dave, to honor your life as you have honored ours.

I was shocked to hear of your crossing over to Heaven. I have very nice memories of when you worked as a RT in Chilton and I was on the night shift as a Paramedic. You were always smiling and oh so willing to teach. When I was going to PCCC for my RN, you were teaching there. Once in a while we would go have lunch together in the cafe. Although we lost touch as life moved on for both of us, I want you to know that you left a lasting impression on me. Rest in Peace, my friend. Until we meet again!

I have fond childhood memories of David. We went through grade school together and had our share of classroom mischief. I remember his red hair, his giggle and his wonderful sense of humor. Heartfelt condolences to his family during this most difficult time.

So very sorry to hear of Dave's passing.
He has been a good friend for over 40 years.
We were very young when a group of us started at Chilton and all quickly bonded and have remained friends for over 40 years.
We shared so many happy hours, weddings, laughter, tears, good times and bad together over the years.
Dave's smile, laughter and big heart will be dearly missed.
Our deep sympathy to all of Dave's family and friends
Rest In Peace my friend
Love,
Michele and John Lobman

We send our deepest sympathy and love to you at this very difficult time. We well know the hole in your heart that the loss of David brings. We also know that only time can begin to heal that wound. You and your entire family are in our thoughts and prayers. We are sorry that we cannot make the trip to New Jersey at this time. Thanks for the many years of our friendship, our days on the squad, and our many many trips to Las Vegas, Mississippi, and New Orleans. My down fall in life is I can't handle when my friends pass away. I tried my best to come and see you, but I just couldn't do it. I didn't want to see what the "Cancer" was doing to you. Thanks again for the great memories in Las Vegas with Kathy and Ray Pogwist. Can't believe that life has gone by so fast. I always hoped to move to Vegas. But not sure if that's will happen. Rest in peace and keeping laughing at the things we did with Kathy and Ray................... Best times.................. I will try my best to come and see you one last time, if I don't I am sorry my friend....................
