My dear Uncle David, who always referred to me as his namesake 'the Jerusalem David', will always be remembered by Joan and I and our children as a loving peacemaker, a man who spread joy everywhere. May his soul "be bound in the bundle of life with the Lord God" (1 Samuel 25:29).
Grief can indeed be hard, but our special memories of our loving Uncle David help us cope. Remembering you and your loved ones today and always.

I had the privilege of knowing David through his activity with U.S. Small Business Administration's SCORE program. Through that program, David mentored a countless number of entrepreneurs in starting or expanding a small business, especially those seeking his expert advice on exporting.
He was extraordinary man with a larger than life personality and was a driving force in developing a stronger SCORE presence in Hudson County and later in Passaic County at the Clifton Public Library.
On behalf of all of us at the U.S. Small Business Administration, we offer our heartfelt condolences to the Malka family. We certainly will miss David, but we have some wonderful memories of him and will always remember him for his giving nature and his willingness to share his knowledge with others.
