Dominic Ingraffea Obituary
Dominic D., 94, of Bradenton, FL passed away Saturday June 21, 2014 at The Inn at Freedom Village, in Bradenton, FL. Dominic was a graduate of Wilson High School, class of 1938. He attended Lafayette College and worked as an Engineer for American Can Co. formerly Dixie Cup Company until his retirement in 1981. Dominic was a member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Ringwood, NJ. He was a 4th Degree member of the Pope Pius XII assembly, Knights of Columbus; a member of St. Catherine's seniors in Ringwood, NJ; and had served many years as a lector at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Easton, PA. Dominic is survived by his two sons, Dominic Ingraffea and his wife Laura, of Ringwood, NJ, and Anthony Ingraffea and his wife Janet, of Ithaca, NY; two daughters, Marilyn and the late Joseph Collins of Boca Raton, FL, and Annette and Karl Horner of Bradenton, FL; grandchildren: Adam and Edith Ingraffea, Nathan and Jennifer Ingraffea, Sarah Ingraffea, Rachel and Stephen Mickevich, Susan and Milton Jurado, Karen and Brad Ingraffea, Joseph and Meagan Collins, and Cristina Caldwell; and great-grandchildren: Max, Eli, and Alex Ingraffea and Alyssa Collins. DEAR FAMILY,IT'S HARD TO BELIEVE THAT OUR PARENTS ARE ALL GONE NOW. HOW BLESSED WE ARE TO HAVE HAD SUCH WONDERFUL PARENTS, EVEN THOUGH THEY ALL COULDN'T STAY WITH US VERY LONG, I WILL ALWAYS CHERISH THE BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES OF THE TIMES WE ALL SHARED TOGETHER. AUNT MARY & UNCLE DON MADE A POWERFUL INPACT ON MY LIFE. MAY THEY NOW ENJOY THE FRUITS OF THEIR LIVES AS THE CELEBRATE THEIR REUNION TOGETHER. I am sorry to hear about the loss of Dominic. I can remember the good times both locally and in Ringwood(?). He will now be with Mary again. God be with the entire family, which keeps growing.
