Dorothy DePaola Obituary
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 2, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Highway 35 at New Bedford Road, Wall.
Mrs. DePaola, 85, died April 29 in Brandywine in Wall Township.
Born in Chicago, Ill., Mrs. DePaola lived in Short Hills and Palm Beach, Fla.
She was a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church, where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and taught Sunday School. She was a member of the St. Mary Hospital Ladies Guild in Orange and a member of the Maplewood Country Club.
While living in Palm Beach, Fla., she was a parishioner of St. Edward's Church and a member of the Beach Club of Palm Beach. She was also a member of the Metropolitan Club and Tiro a Segno in New York City.
Mrs. DePaola is survived by her husband, Dr. Alphonse F.; a son, Dr. Frederick A. of Wall; three daughters, Diana M., of West Palm Beach, Laura A. Riedel of Wayne, Pa., and Antonia Ann Tenenbaum of Berkeley Heights; a brother, Richard Jurincie of Rochester, N.Y.; a sister, Yvonne Wheeler of Germantown, Md.; and nine grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, 1345 Campus Parkway., Suite A-2, Neptune, N.J., 07753 or to National Stroke Association, 9707 East Easter Lane, Suite B, Centennial, Colo., 80112.
