Douglas Schider Obituary
Douglas Schider, 49, of Lodi, passed away on April 26, 2017. Doug was born in Teaneck, NJ on February 9, 1968, the beloved son of Judith (Dembow) Schider and the late William Schider. Doug was the cherished husband of Lindsay Baretz-Schider; the dear brother of Deborah Fabiano and her husband Leonard and Robert Schider and his wife Laura, and a treasured uncle to their children. Doug is also survived by many cousins and devoted friends. He was an avid geocacher with 669 finds and will always be remembered for his sense of humor and kindness. Visitation will be offered on Saturday from 2-6 PM at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. A service will be offered during visitation. Private cremation by the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the American Diabetes Association. More at www.santangelofuneral.com.

I was checking social media for Doug, because my heart still hurts over the loss of an old friend of ours, so he was on my mind too. I just found out now about Doug's passing. I only worked with him for a couple years, but he had the best sense of humor and a huge heart. I'm so sorry to hear this.
