Elinor Plavier Obituary
Waldwick - Elinor R. Plavier age 96 of Paramus, formerly of Waldwick, passed away Tuesday, January 1st, 2019. Born and raised in Paterson, she lived in Lakewood, Ohio while attending high school before moving back to New Jersey and residing in Totowa. Elinor had been a homemaker in Waldwick since 1964 and had worked as a cashier at the Pathmark in Waldwick for several years. Surviving are her devoted children, Joan Plavier and Jeffrey Plavier both of Bethlehem, PA. Elinor also leaves a grandson Thomas Plavier of Richmond, VA. She was pre-deceased by her loving husband of 65 years, Henry, her son William, her sisters Bet (Bessie) Arold and Mae Longerich and her brother Cornelius Dross. The Plavier family will receive friends on Friday, 10:30 until 11:00 AM followed by a prayer service at 11:00 AM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff (www.vpfh.com). Entombment will be in the Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa.

Joan and Jeff...Brian Gallagher here..hope you 2 are well as can be. Found Billys' obit a few years back..and also found your dad Henry. Now mom so you can lean on each other. You are such nice folks..take good care. I think of Billy often...and smile. We had some laughs..and good times. All that life can give..I do hope all were reasonably comfortable before their leaving this life.
