Elizabeth Facendola Obituary
Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Hribar), on January 24, 2017 of Ridgefield, NJ, age 89. Elizabeth was born on October 27, 1927 in Teaneck, NJ and was a secretary at Bright Steel in N.Y.C. After raising her children she returned to work as a bookkeeper at Facendola Fuel Co. in Hoboken, NJ. Elizabeth loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping with her daughter, and cooking for her sons and grandchildren and had been a source of strength throughout their entire lives. Beloved wife to the late Gaetano (2006). Devoted mother to Steven Facendola and his fiance Ashley Lanzara, Jerry Facendola and his wife Susan Lui-Facendola and Deidre Altobell and her husband Joseph. Adored grandmother to Steven G. and Ashley. Funeral from the A.K. Macagna Funeral Home 495 Anderson Avenue Cliffside Park, NJ, on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 8 AM thence to St. Matthew R.C. Church in Ridgefield, NJ. where a Funeral Mass will be offered at 9 AM. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum in North Arlington, NJ. The family will receive their friends Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Villa Marie Claire 12 W Saddle River Road Saddle River, NJ. 07458.
