Eric Andre Louis Dhumez

DHUMEZ Eric Andre Louis, age 65, of Verona, died on August 3, 2011. He was born in Brunoy, Essone, France, attended school at College Technique de Savigny and served in the French Military - Alpine Division. A kind soul and a gifted man, Eric had both artistic and professional success. As a young man, Eric was an entertainer for Club MED and signed contracts as a recording artist for his original compositions in 1974 and 1982 with RCA and Saravah, France respectively. In the US, Eric graduated from the Chubb Institute and worked as an Electro-Mechanical Designer and then a Systems Engineer for companies including AERCO, Bendix, Allied / Signal / Honeywell, ADP and Kearfott. Eric retired as a Systems Engineer for United Retail Group, IWC, Rochelle Park in 2009. During his time in the US, Eric has written over 100 musical compositions inspired by love and God's grace. Some of Eric and his wife's compositions may be heard on the Internet under the group name Genuine Wanna Bees. In the US, he is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Phyllis (nee Rigoliosi), son, Marc Dhumez and wife Hadar and grandchildren Ori and Lea; his immediate family in the US includes father and mother-in-law Charles and Elvira Rigoliosi, and sister and brothers-in-law Rosalyn and Robert Lamparello and niece Dana, Charles and Lori Rigoliosi and nephews Charles, Christopher and Craig, and John and Patricia Rigoliosi and nephew and niece Jonathan and Sara. In France, he was predeceased by his father and mother Andre and Marie-Louise Dhumez, and survived by his sister Marie-Lou Dhumez, and niece and husband Eve and Benoit Foussier and their children Lucas and Emma, and brother and wife, Yves and Chantal Dhumez, and nephews/wives, niece/ husband, Arnaud and Jocrissia Dhumez and their daughter Margot, Emmanuelle and Arnault Paret and their son and daughter Quentin and Manon, and Stephen and Sophie Coulon. The funeral is Thursday, August 11, 2011, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10 AM, followed by an 11 AM mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield. Private Cremation.
