Eric Ernst Obituary
Capt. Eric William Ernst age 51 passed away April 10, 2018. Born in Nashville, TN he resided in Ramsey, NJ. He was a graduate of Westwood High School and Penn State University. Eric was hired as a Pilot for American Eagle in 1991 and then American Airlines in 1999. He was upgraded to Captain in 2017. Eric was a member of the Allied Pilots Association and an avid golfer. Surviving are his loving wife Randi, his parents, retired Captain Raymond and Virginia Ernst, 2 beautiful daughters Amanda and Cassandra, sister Kristen O'Neill and her husband Jerry and their children Raymond and Kaitlyn. He is also survived by one brother. Services will be held at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey, NJ on Friday, April 13 from 4-8 PM and a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 14 from 9:30-11 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eric's name to Ramapo- Bergen Animal Refuge, 2 Shelter Lane, Oakland, NJ 07436. Please send tributes, memories and condolences to vanemburghsneider.com.
