Eric LINDSTROM Obituary

LINDSTROM Eric E., age 84, of New Milford died Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Beloved husband of the late Mildred (nee Watts) and Doris (nee McGill). Devoted father of S. Ileana Lindstrom and her husband Thomas G. Sinnott. Dear step-father of Edward Nolan, John Nolan and his wife Roseanne. Loving grandfather of Kelly, Michael, Jennifer, and John Nolan, Jr. Cherished great-grandfather of Liam James Cooper. Dear brother of Elvira Marcogliese and Gloria Paciello. Eric enlisted with the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. He was a longtime member of the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in New Milford where he served as a Council Member as well as a Preacher. Professionally, Eric was a manager with the MTA in New York City. He was also a member of the Bergen County Historical Society as well as a HAM Radio Operator. Family and friends are invited to visit Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Rd., Oradell. Funeral service Saturday 10 AM at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, New Milford. Interment to be held privately. In lieu of flowers donations in his name to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater New Jersey Chapter, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834.
