Fernando GONZALEZ Obituary

GONZALEZ Fernando, 83, resident of Deltona, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 6, 2009, Rochelle Park, NJ.Fernando was born August 20, 1925 in Matehuala, S.L.P., Mexico. He came to The United States during World War II and served honorably in the U.S. Army. He had a long career in the New York Hotel-Restaurant Industry.Fernando and Mercedes Medina were married and raised four childrenHe is predeceased by his parents, four brothers and one sister, all in Mexico and Doreen, his daughter.He is survived by three sons: Fred (LaVern), Sergio (Grace), Michael (Martha).Also survived by brothers: Jaime, Jesus and Jose-Luis, and sister Lucha all in Mexico.Also, five grandchildren: Natalie (Florida), Devin and Adam (New Jersey), Vanessa and Michael (Florida) and two great-grandchildren Spencer and Delaney.Fernando was remarried and is survived by his wife, Geraldine Di Sano-Gonzalez of Deltona, FL. and son-in-law Joseph Di Sano of Deltona.Donations may be made to: Compassionate Care Hospice Foundation, 11 Independence Way, Newark, DE 197113 1-866-999-8744.
