Frank "Junior" GUTTMANN

GUTTMANN Frank "Junior", 65, of Kearny, died Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Clara Maass Continuing Care Center at Kearny. Born in Passaic, he lived in Clifton before moving to Kearny 25 years ago. He was an advertising salesman for various employers throughout the New York/New Jersey area. Sports were his passion. Mr. Guttmann was a graduate of Don Bosco High School in Ramsey where he excelled in Basketball and Track. He earned his BA in accounting from Bloomfield College. An avid golfer, he was a member of the Forest Hill Field Club and was a pilot in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era. The loving son of the late Lillian (Loikits) and Frank A. Guttmann, who both passed away in 2008, he is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Sharon Delaney-Guttmann; his daughter, Cristin Guttmann and his sister, Dolores Guttmann. He is also the son-in-law of Phoebe and the late Ed Delaney; the brother-in-law of Dan, Diane and Bill and the uncle of Kaitlin and Jenna.The funeral will be Wednesday, 9:30 AM from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley, with a funeral mass celebrated at St. Stephen's Church, Kearny at 10:30 AM. The interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Frank's name to the Don Bosco High School Sports Program, 492 N. Franklin Turnpike, Ramsey, NJ 07446 would be preferred.
