Fred Lorsch Obituary

LORSCH
Fred, age 90, passed away at home on August 26, 2016. A 52 year resident of Paramus, NJ. Born in 1926, Alsfeld Germany to Isadore and Sidy Lorsch. They came to America to escape Nazi persecution and lived in Chicago, NYC and Paramus. He served in the US Army overseas in the Philippines during WWII. He graduated from the American Institute of Television and worked as both a Technician and Service Manager in the Electronic/Television industry. Fred loved spending time at home with his family and dedicated his life to providing for their future and wellbeing. He enjoyed attending synagogue at the JCC/CBT and was a co-chairman of the religious committee. He was a proud member of the Jewish War Veterans.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Melitta Lorsch, nee Nathan, his two sons, Alan and Sidney, their respective wife's Lori and Dori and grandson Adam.
Funeral services will be held at JCC/CBT in Paramus, NJ on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at 1:00 PM. The family will observe Shiva at the family's home.
