STEIN Frederick T., 71, died Thursday, October 2, 2008 at his home in North Arlington. Born in Kingston, Pa., he lived in Jersey City before moving to North Arlington 40 years ago. He graduated in 1955 from St. Aloysius High School, Jersey City where he was later instrumental in forming their Class of 1955 Annual Reunion. In 1959 he graduated from St. Peter's College in Jersey City. He served in the United States Army from 1959 to 1965. He worked as a sales executive for Travelers in Newark, Exxon in Hackensack and Coastal Corp. in College Point, N.Y. for many years before retiring in 2002. During the 1970's he was very active in the North Arlington Republican Club, Little League and Cub Scouts, he also served as president of the Queen of Peace Grammar School P.T.A. He was the beloved husband of Eileen (nee Cunnane), the devoted father of Frederick Stein and his wife Ricarda, Patricia Trongone and her husband Jeff, Marianne Trause and her husband Eugene and the late Thomas Stein, the cherished grandfather of Thomas, Freddie, Jonathan, Gabriella and Elizabeth, the dear brother of Joanne Burns and her husband Ed, and loving son of the late Leo and Cecelia Stein. Funeral from the Parow Funeral Home 185 Ridge Rd.., North Arlington on Monday, October 6th at 9 a.m. thence to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington for the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. The family will receive friends on Sunday 2-6 p.m.
