Gail E. Muir

Kinnelon - Gail E. Muir, 78, of Kinnelon, passed away on December 7, 2018.

Born in Newark and raised in Nutley, Gail was the daughter of H. David and Katherine Stamm. She graduated from Russell Sage College and then began teaching in Bloomfield Public Schools. Several years later Gail began teaching for Kinnelon Public Schools where she remained until her retirement.

Gail is survived by her devoted husband, Peter Muir; her loving children, Jonathan Muir and his wife Sarah, and Jeffrey Muir and his wife Cari-Lynn; and her cherished grandchildren, Addison, Gavin, Mason, Talia and Chloe. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 am on Friday, December 14, 2018 at Our Lady of the Magnificat RC Church, Kinnelon. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Gail's memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
