Gary Lee of Norwood, (formerly of the Bronx) on January 24, 2015. Beloved husband of Denise. Devoted father of Sondra Hodes, Brooke Hodes-Wertz and her husband Chris Wertz, Megan Hodes and Scott Hodes. Loving grandfather of Jason and Jenna Vacca and Sheridan, Samantha, and Madeline Wertz. Principal and executive vice president of Adrianna Papell. Our beloved hero and inspiration, he will be sorely missed. Visitation Wednesday January 28, from 11-12 PM at Barrett Funeral Home on 148 Dean Drive, Tenafly, NJ with a noon service followed by interment at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery on 234 Paramus Road, Paramus. Shiva will be observed at the Hodes residence at 30 Cobblestone Crossing, Norwood, NJ on Wednesday from 3 -8 PM and Thursday from 12-3 and 7-9 PM. All family and friends are welcome. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation at (tnbcfoundation.org)

Was cleaning out my closet and an envelope fell and it was from Gary, a zillion years ago. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. We were close in high school, until my parent moved to California and we lost touch. He was friendly with Michael Allan James at the time, as we all kind of hung out. I was so shocked to hear of Gary's passing. Very special friend to me when I was the dress buyer at Talbot's. Great man to do business with, true class act. Spoke to him a couple of yrs ago and told me had a son named Scott, so proud of his girls and now a son. Denise we never met, but he was so proud of you and spoke with love in his eyes. My deepest sympathy to you and your children. May the love of God surround you all.

Dear Denise, I was planning a trip to NY, it has been 10 yrs now that I have been living in NH. I called before Christmas and your husband was away on a business trip, so I called today and found out that my Most Favorite Boss has passed away. I worked with your husband at the Kollection Ltd. and we (a team of up) started-up Joan Leslie. I remember when you got married. So many memories. Denise, I am so so Very sorry for your loss. I tell everyone here in NH about Your Husband as he always allowed me to create my vision. He will always remain a wonderful part of my life in NY.
