Genevieve Carrington Obituary
Genevieve (O'Hanlon), age 94, of Toms River (formerly a long time resident of Ridgefield Park) entered into eternal life December 11, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Sophie raised her family in Ridgefield Park. She was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church for 49 years. Genevieve often said the best times of her life was the time her and Rich spent as Nanny and Poppy to their granddaughters. Even as the girl's lives took them far away from NJ the bond remained strong. She also enjoyed her many friends in Holiday City and their many trips to Atlantic City. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Richard J. Carrington Sr. (2007). Loving mother to Reverend Richard J. Carrington Jr., Jeanne Carrington and her husband Brian Keane. Cherished grandmother to Kaitlin Keane and Elizabeth Keane. She will be greatly missed by her brother David O'Hanlon and her many nieces and nephews.. Funeral from the Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral from Home 59 Main Street Ridgefield Park Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass will be offered at Saint Francis R.C. Church at 10 AM. Interment, Mary Rest Cemetery, Mahwah. Visitation Sunday 5-9 PM. Vorheesingwersen.com
