I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of one of my best childhood friends and classmates from Sts. Cyril & Methodius school, Clifton, N.J.
Gerry and I lived on the same street (Knapp Ave.) and even the same block. We played as kids in his home and my home very often.
He lived a very full, happy, and successful life. May God bless Gerry and keep Gerry with Him eternally.

My deepest and heartfelt condolences to Louise and the Wyhopen family during this time of loss. Gerry was one of the best bosses I ever had the blessing of working with. His sense of humor, firmness and integrity helped make the work of law enforcement a little easier to perform. He always had words of encouragement or a joke to make your day. He will be deeply missed by all who knew, respected and loved him.
