Harris Cohen Obituary

LINCOLN PARK — Services were held for Harris Cohen, 79, of this community, who died on Saturday, February 28, 2015.

Born in the Bronx, N.Y., Mr. Cohen lived there before moving to Lincoln Park 43 years ago. He started his career as a salesman with Burlington Ribbon Mills, New York City, where he worked for 20 years, ending his career as a salesman with Star Narrow Fabrics, North Jersey. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias, the Bronx, N.Y. And, he was a U.S. Army veteran.

Services were Monday at New Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus. Arrangements were by the Keri Memorial Funeral Home, Lincoln Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society.

Mr. Cohen is survived by his wife, the former Yetta Charof; his sons, Allan and David; his brother, Edwin; and his grandchildren, Heather and David.

Harris was a wonderful man. I'm so happy I was able to see him over the years when Yetta and Harris would come to visit in CT. My sincere condolences to Yetta, Al, David, Joyce, Heather & David.
