Helene M. Capone

RUTHERFORD - Helene M. (nee Telmosse) Capone, 75, of East Rutherford for 49 years and formerly of Weehawken where she was raised, passed away at home on March 17, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.

For 10 years she was a receptionist for Allied Building Products in East Rutherford and retired in 2004.

Helene was a parishioner of St. Joseph's R.C. Church. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and Mended Hearts of Bergen County, and she volunteered at the Oasis women's shelter.

She is remembered for her sense of humor, her pristine appearance, generous spirit, but most of all, her undying devotion to her husband and her family.

She was beloved wife of Thomas Capone, and devoted mother of Thomas Capone and his wife Janine, Robin Soto, Jane Hansen and her husband Bob, and Christine Dato and her husband Giuseppe. She was cherished grandmother of Anthony and his wife Sondra, Joseph and his wife Sianna, Stephen, Emily, Brian, Danny, Kristin, Michael, Tommy, Anna, Sara, and Francesca and great grandmother of Mia, Caelen, Kaia and Luke. She was dear sister of Joseph Telmosse and predeceased by three sisters and three brothers. She was caring aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Wednesday, March 19, from 4-9 p.m. at the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad St., Carlstadt. The funeral will depart from the Kimak Funeral Home on Thursday, March 20, at 9 a.m. for a Mass at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, East Rutherford at 9:30 a.m. Cremation will be at east Ridgelawn Crematory, Clifton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude children's Hospital, P.O.
