Henry Emr Obituary
Henry "Hank" Emr, 78, of Paramus, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017. Hank founded Hank's Sign Co., Paramus which he owned and operated for 57 years leaving his creative mark throughout Bergen County. He was a past volunteer Fireman bravely serving for 15 years with Paramus Fire Co #1. Hank was also a Marine veteran who served our country proudly reaching the rank of Lance Corporal.
Cherished husband of Elizabeth (nee Lasson). Beloved father of Hank Emr and his wife Beth, Gregory Emr and his wife Donna and Michael Emr and his wife Peggy. Treasured grandfather of William Henry, Addison, Samantha, Molly and Halle.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 2pm - 4pm & 7pm - 9pm at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, June 23, 2017 at Our Lady of the Visitation R.C. Church, 234 N. Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in Henry's memory may be made to the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund, 825 College Boulevard Suite 102, PMB 609 Oceanside, CA 92057 or to Fighting Children's Cancer Foundation, 55 Lane Road, Suite 300, Fairfield, NJ 07004

Very sorry to learn of the passing of Hank. I didn't know him very well but some of the guys at Tree Land told me he was a great guy. What a great tribute.
