Henry Touw Obituary
Henry B. Touw, age 82, of North Haledon, on Friday, September 1, 2017. He was born in Paterson, later moving to North Haledon where he lived for most of his life. Henry was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in North Haledon. He worked as a bricklayer, milkman, chimney sweep, and as a limo driver for AA Alert in Ridgewood.
Henry was the beloved husband of the late Janet H. Touw (nee Tanis) (2011). Loving father of Stephanie McClure of Secaucus, David Touw of West Milford, and Douglas Touw of North Haledon. Adoring grandfather of Matthew, Amanda, and Joshua Touw. Brother of William Touw of Hewitt, Martin Touw of Towaco, and the late Marie Verbrugge, formerly of Germyn, PA (2016).
Cremation will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be sent to the American Parkinson's Association, 135 Parkinson Avenue, Staten Island, NJ 10305. (browningforshay.com)
