Jack Alter

ALTER Jack, Mayor of Fort Lee, age 79, on Monday 27, 2007. Born in New York City. He was the 4th term Mayor of Fort Lee. He served his country in the United States Army. He retired as the Chief Executive Officer of Jack Alter Associates Inc., Roseland, attended NYU where he received his Masters Degree in Psychology. He was a Commissioner of the State of NJ Board of Public Utilities, a member of the Bergen County Board of Freeholder's and a member of the Jewish Community Center. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Karp). Devoted father of David and his wife Deborah Alter, Karen and Lisa Alter. Cherished grandfather of Samuel, Rori, Kenneth, Sophie, Jared and Joshua.
