Jan "John" KOOPMANS

KOOPMANS Jan "John", 89, of Carlstadt for fifty-nine years passed away April 30, 2010. Mr. Koopmans was born in the Netherlands and came to the U. S. A. in 1950. He was a maintenance worker for Nurminen Construction of Hawthorne and has been retired for twenty-seven years. Beloved husband of the late Jantje "Janet" (nee Kuipers) Koopmans. Loving father of Janet G. Eure and her husband Arnold. Cherished grandfather of Derek Eure, Alicia Zidan and her husband Mahmoud, Evan Eure, Mark Eure and great-grandfather of Kayden Zidan, Mason Zidan and Nicholas Eure. Dear brother of Foppe Koopmans and predeceased by brothers; Meine Koopmans, Jan Koopmans, sisters; Eltje Schade and Tyntje Blaasuw. Funeral from the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street, Carlstadt on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 11:30 PM. Interment, George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visitation, Sunday, 7-9 PM.
