My memories of Janice were of a good friend and classmate from seventh grade through high school graduation. She was always smiling, happy, and ready to listen or help. We shared several events and experiences, many captured in the Dial, which are among the best of my recollections.

Gone way too soon. But when I think of Janice I won't be able to stop from returning the smile she gave away so freely.

I was taken aback and saddened to learn that Janice has passed on. Having shared many experiences with her from our kindergarten days at Mount Pleasant School, through elementary school, through WRHS classes and clubs, and even through college at FDU, Janice always maintained a gentle spirit, a keen mind, and a quick smile and laugh. We all were warmly welcomed by the Nagel family into their home whether we were participating in school projects or just friendly fun... there was never any doubt from where Janice derived her gracious hospitality. Lori, I hope this time of sharp grief will quickly give way to the many happy memories you shared with your lovely sister. Peace be with you.

It is with great sadness that I hear about the unfortunate passing of my high school classmate. Although we had lost touch since our high school days, I still remember Janice fondly, and was privileged to count her as one of my friends. I wish to express my deepest condolences to Janices's family and offer my prayers in your time of sorrow

Janice and I were best of friends ever since we were toddlers, living next door to each other. We were so close during grade school that we often wore the exact same dresses to school that our mother's had made for us. Although we drifted apart somewhat during our jr. high and high school years, we reconnected again in later years, via emails, cards, and phone calls. I will miss Janice dearly. My heartfelt condolences to Lori, Tara, and all of Janice's extended family, especially many of her cousins that I got to know during our younger years.
