Jerome G. Sr.,of Bayonne, NJ on Thursday April 19, 2012 at home surrounded by his loving family. Jerry was born in Jersey City and lived there for 25 years; he then resided in Bayonne, NJ. Jerry attended Washington Public School, St Peter's Prep., Seton Hall University, Bayonne Community College, and McAllister School of Embalming. Since 1964 he owned and operated Beddiges-Seitz-Stabile Funeral Home and was a partner of Houghton Funeral Home, with his most trusted friend and cousin William A. Gaughan and his wife Bernadette, for over 40 years until his retirement. He was an active member of St. Henry's RC Church and Hudson County Funeral Directors Association. Beloved son of the late Francis R. and Marie (nee Amsheyus) Stabile and brother of the late Alan. Devoted husband of Doreen (nee Donohue) Stabile. Loving father of Patricia Pizarro, Michael, Kenneth, and the late Jerome G. Stabile Jr.
Cherished grandfather of Marisa Pizarro White and her husband Josh, Jordon Pizarro, Aedan, Kenneth Jr., Alexandra, Winnie D., Francesca, Nora Jean, and Victoria Stabile. Dear father-in-law of Oscar Pizarro MD, Jeanne and Marlene Stabile. Nephew of Theresa Calamari and Emily Kelly. Brother-in-law of Ann and Joseph Cacciatore and Sarah McCray and the late Eileen and John Burns, and Willis McCray. Jerry is also survived by seven nieces and nephews and 14 great- nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
Friends and family will gather on Monday April 23rd at 8:30 AM at Bayonne Memorial Home Inc., 854 Avenue C, Bayonne, NJ.
Funeral Mass 9:30 AM at St Henry's RC Church, Bayonne. Interment Hillside Cemetery, Rutherford. Visiting Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
