JoEllen Hansen Obituary
JoEllen Charlotte Hansen 69 of Hackettstown, NJ formerly of Bergenfield, NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 12th, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Wayne, NJ. JoEllen was born April 5, 1949 and courageously battled Multiple Myeloma for 5 years. She was a graduate of River Dell High School, Oradell, NJ and had over a 20 year career as an Executive Assistant at Bergen Community College, Paramus, NJ. She is survived by her husband Francis Hansen; her two children Richard Bitetti, Lynda Gentile and was predeceased by her son Christopher Bitetti. Her pride and joy were her 6 beautiful granddaughters; Christina, Ashley, Gianna, Alexandria, Biancca and Nicole and her two great grandchildren Fabian and Isabella. JoEllen was a wonderful wife and mother who enjoyed simple pleasures in life but always loved a trip to a casino for an afternoon with the slot machines. Visiting will be Monday from 4-8PM, at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Washington Avenue, Bergenfield. All will gather at South Presbyterian Church, 150 W. Church St., Bergenfield on Tuesday for the Funeral service at 11AM. Cremation will be private. Send a lasting condolence at riewertsmemorialhome.com
