Johanna Rink

RINK - Johanna, 95, of Charlotte, went to be with the Lord Saturday, September 25, 2004 at Carmel Hills Retirement Center. Born and educated in Germany, she came to the U.S. in 1929, made her home in North Jersey and attended Wayne Christian Assembly. Since moving to Charlotte in 1986, she attended the Charlotte Gospel Hall. Johanna was preceded in death by her husband, Erwin Rink and a daughter, Edith Klemm. She is survived by her daughter, Elsie Weinmann and husband Albert, her son Edmund and wife Shirley all of Wayne, NJ and son-in-law LeRoy Klemm of Michigan; grandchildren, Cheryl and Tom Boodt, Barbara and John Curphy, Douglas and Sharon Weinmann, Bryan and Heidi Weinmann, Lenard and Sandra Rink, and Lisa Rink; and also 13 great grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, September 20, 2004 at Harry and Bryant Company, "Chapel in the Oaks", 500 Providence Rd., Charlotte. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Carmel Hills Assistance Fund, 2801 Carmel Rd., Charlotte, NC 28226.
