I met John about 35 years ago through his brother Eddie. At the time I was only 7 years old but i do remember him being a real jokster. I am so so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this very difficult time.

John Acker was a generous and loyal friend and business associate. I will always remember fathers day at his house, no one threw a party like John. Miss ya :(

I had the pleasure of meeting John in college. We soon became lifelong friends and stayed in touch throughout. From all at Columbia College that can't attend - you will be missed Jersey.

Worked with John for 2 years while I managed the plaza around Rockaway Mall for Simon. Always enjoyed his company, drive, and wit.
My sympathy to his entire family.
