John Baniel Obituary
He was a Sgt. in the United States Marine Corps and a veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Inland Steel Company after 34 years.
Mr. Baniel is predeceased by wife Anne Faith Baniel (nee Lawlor). He is survived by daughter Sherri Starrett and granddaughter Desiree Tunnero and her husband Vincent. He is also survived by great-granddaughter Valentina.
On March 29, relatives and friends attended the funeral from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home then the funeral Mass from Sacred Heart R.C. Church, both of Lyndhurst. The services were followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery of North Arlington.

To John's Family: Sorry to hear of John's passing. We were team mates in the 40's at Ferris HS. He was a great guy and he will be sorely missed. My sincerest sympathy to all the family.

To John's family: Just saw John last year. our days go back to the mid forties when we played two sports together for 3 years. John will always be missed and remembered by all of his former team mates. My sincerest sympathy to all the family.
