MISTRETTA
John P. Sr., age 86, of Saddle Brook passed away January 22, 2015. John was born in New York City and lived in Saddle Brook since 1963. He was an Electrical Engineer and worked for Burns & Roe Engineers of Oradell, NJ as well as being an independent consultant on many projects. John is survived by his beloved wife Dolores, his loving son John Mistretta Jr. and his wife Valerie, and his adored grandchildren John P. III and Ryan James. Funeral services from the Kugler Community Home For Funerals 311 Fifth Street Saddle Brook with visiting hours on Sunday, January 25 from 3-6 PM. Funeral mass on Monday, January 26 at 10 AM at St. Gabriel the Archangel Church, 88 E. Saddle River Road in Saddle River. Interment in George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery in Paramus.

Uncle Johnny, I love you so much. I wish I had been able to see you more than I have been, but at least I know you will be with me forever now. I couldn't have asked for a better God Father and Uncle. You were truly one of a kind and I will never ever ever forget you or the memories I have.

Uncle John,Was the Best! Always a happy go lucky Cheerful Man, he was always a good listener. He Had his moments, but loved my kids and I unconditionally. He and my sister would always take desiree and I out for Chinese dinner, that was our favorite. Uncle John you will be missed but never forgotten..
